Bump Circle is a pregnancy information and support product shaped by registered midwifery experience. These are the standards we use to separate a reassuring design from a clinically accountable one.

Evidence before opinion

Clinical claims should be grounded in authoritative maternity sources. References are stored with the content so guidance can be checked and updated.

Review before a badge

A midwife-reviewed badge appears only after a registered reviewer has approved that specific item. Draft or pending content does not inherit somebody else’s authority.

Visible review dates

Approved guidance records when it was reviewed. Material clinical changes return to the review queue rather than silently keeping an old approval.

Human care when it matters

Bump Circle provides general information, not diagnosis or emergency monitoring. Urgent concerns are directed to your maternity unit, NHS 111 or emergency services as appropriate.

Smart Chat

Helpful between appointments. Never the final word.

Smart Chat uses AI and can make mistakes. It is kept separate from human clinical review, cannot diagnose or monitor an emergency, and always asks you to verify important information with your own midwife or healthcare professional.
