Community Guidelines

1. Care for the person reading

Bump Circle has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Content that breaks these rules is removed and the account responsible is suspended or banned.

• Be kind, specific and respectful, including when you disagree.
• Do not harass, shame, threaten, sexualise, exploit, impersonate or discriminate against another person.
• Keep trying-to-conceive, pregnancy and new-parent discussions in their separate spaces so members control what they encounter.

2. Peer support is not clinical care

You may share personal experience, but do not present yourself as another member's clinician, diagnose them, tell them to ignore professional advice, or promote unsafe treatment or medical misinformation.

Circle is not monitored as an emergency service. If you are worried about symptoms, contact your maternity unit or healthcare professional. In an emergency, call 999.

3. Privacy and lawful content

• Share only content you have the right and consent to share. Protect children's and other people's names, faces, records and contact details.
• Do not post illegal content, sexual content involving anyone under 18, threats, instructions for serious harm, scams, spam or another person's private information.
• Do not move a conversation off-platform to pressure, solicit or exploit another member.

4. Reports, blocks and moderation

Photos are read by the Bump Circle safety team before they appear in Circle, and posts and comments are moderated by the same team. Use Report when a post, comment or member may break these rules, and Block when you no longer want to see someone's content or hear from them. Reports go to the same safety queue.

We act on a report within 24 hours. We remove material that breaks these rules, suspend or ban the accounts responsible, preserve relevant records, and notify an appropriate authority where the law requires it. Harassment, sexual content involving a child, threats and other serious breaches end an account on the first occasion. A warning is reserved for a minor slip such as posting in the wrong space.

For a report you cannot make in the app, contact developer@chewybytes.com. Include the Circle name, what happened and any relevant post link. Do not email intimate medical images unless our safety team asks for them through an approved route.

5. Your agreement

By joining Circle, you confirm that you are 18 or over and agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Use. You also accept that objectionable content and abusive behaviour end your access to Circle. The tracker and essential safety information remain available without joining Circle.
